La Belle Mort(complete)

La Belle Mort (the beautiful death) is a romantic tragedy set in WWII France. Simone Saint-Clair is a sensual vampire fighting for the French Resistance who falls in love with an American GI.

Utopia(Steampunk WIP)

This is one of my current works in progress - a steampunk novel set in 1812 Pennsylvania. It's a little before the Victorian period and more clockwork than steamwork.

Works In Progress

These are excerpts from the novels I am currently working on. Some are complete, but as yet not sold. Some are in varying stages of completion. This page is fluid, a work in progress, so the content will change as I add new titles, change the excerpts associated with existing titles, or remove titles from the list.

On these pages you will see the writer's craft unfold as manuscripts are born and grow, hopefully, into works of art. These pages will not have the prettiest formatting or glossy pictures - they are transitory, drafts, words taking form into literature. Some will require you to be logged in, because they are not properly dressed for public view. Others are awaiting their trip to the publisher and wear their Sunday best.

Writers often slave in isolation, pecking away at their keyboard or feverishly scratching pen on paper. Here I reach out to the cyber-community - fellow writers, editors, agents, publishers, and more than all readers. I encourage you to respond. Tell me what you think of the words you find here. Offer your criticism, your praise, your ideas - become part of the literary process.
